Fairmont Tazi Palace opened late 2022 with a suite of new restaurants as part of its luxury offering. The project began with naming and concept development, helping to define the restaurant’s concept, philosophy and operation. It was followed by creative direction and branding design work that gave further guidance to decor, interior and serving theatrics.

Logo design for ‘Crudo’ utilises a thin and elegant typeface that distills the character and nuances of what raw means. It eludes to the stripped down simplicity of the restaurant’s produce — the skeleton of a fish, veins of a cabbage, or roots of a carrot.
The soft colour palette of ‘Crudo’ represents the two domains of land and sea – the source of many of the venue’s fresh raw produce.
